Appointment Policies
Both of our offices are open between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Since our providers rotate between both of our offices, our patients have the opportunity to ask for a specific provider with whom they would like to schedule an appointment. In order to provide timely service to our patients, we prefer that you call and schedule all appointments.
Punctuality is Appreciated
If you are later than 15 minutes for your scheduled appointment, we may have to reschedule your appointment. If you know you are going to be late for your appointment, please call ahead so that you may be able to keep your appointment time. However, if you are unable to keep your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel.

No Show Policy
Our office understands that situations arise in which will cause you to miss your scheduled appointment. However, if you do not call and cancel your appointment, you may be preventing another child from getting a much needed appointment. Therefore, our office has a “No Show Policy” in order to enable patients to have every opportunity to schedule an appointment.
A “no-show” is someone who misses an appointment without cancelling it in an adequate manner. A failure to be present at the time of your scheduled appointment will be recorded in your medical record as a “no-show.” Patients with 3 OR MORE “no-shows” will run the risk of being dismissed from Marshall County Pediatrics, P.C.
Well Child Visits
In order to keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular checkups. We recommend that you call 1 week in advance so you may choose the appointment date and time that best fits your schedule and needs. Also, our Recommended Immunization Schedule is available on our website in order to help you keep track of when your child should come in for his/her immunizations.

Sick Child Visits
We make every effort to schedule appointments for your sick children on the day that you call. If you have a medical emergency during our office hours, we may be able to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility. If you have multiple sick children, please call ahead so we can accommodate you appropriately. Without an appointment, we may not be able to see your sick child right away, and you may be asked to wait or come back.
New Patients
Please arrive to your appointment 15-20 minutes early in order to fill out the necessary paperwork. This helps our doctors stay on schedule. Also, be sure to bring your insurance card, shot record and any other records or information from your previous doctor with you for your appointment. In order to save you and our office time, the New Patient Forms are available on our website. You may fill them out and fax them to us prior to your appointment, or just bring them with you at the time of your appointment.
Established Patients
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to help ensure our doctors stay on schedule.
*Always remember to bring your insurance card with you. If you have a change in insurance, change of address or change of phone number please be sure to let the receptionist know when you sign in. You can also give us the new/updated information when you call to schedule your appointment.
